Years back the American Robin would migrate down South in the winter. They still do but in the last few years, many stay in the Ottawa area feeding on berries and crabapples. What used to be the first sign of spring is no longer and it is still weird to hear their song in the middle of winter. This photograph was taken in February of 2020 and this individual was part of a a small flock getting high on berries.
