I spent nearly 30 minutes with this pair of Cedar Waxwings during a warm summer's day on the cliffs of the Bow River Valley in Calgary. Eventually, the birds became comfortable enough with me only a few meters away that one of them would leave for a few minutes to forage before returning with food for its partner. I managed to take this shot just as the delivery of the meal was taking place.
