A curious Black-capped Chickadee approached my girlfriend and posed perfectly on her glove for a photo. She had never had a wild bird land on her hand before this day, and it was amazing to see how much the experience moved her. It is moments like these that act as a catalysts for people becoming more interested in nature, and asking what they can do to help preserve our wild places.
