As I watched the St. Lawrence River in search of a snowy owl, the temperature was only getting worse. The waves were getting very high and the wind was getting stronger. Not seeing anything, I was in the process of leaving when this snowy owl flew by a few meters away from me, pushed by the strong winds. I lost sight of it until I saw a white spot perched on a fish sculpture at the other end of the bay. At last, it was him, the owl I had been trying to photograph for two weeks. I only had time to take one picture before he went back to hunt ducks a little further along the shoreline.
