After two weeks looking for something to photograph in the surroundings of Quebec City, I finally managed to find this Northern Hawk Owl. Every morning, for a week, I had the opportunity to observe it waking up in this tree while the outside temperatures were around -25 degrees Celsius. That morning, I wasn't sure to go outside since it wasn't looking very nice, however I thought I might miss something. Between two snow showers, I was able to create this minimalist image of this owl perched in its tree.
