While walking through a stand of White Cedar in Prince Edward County, Ontario I stumbled upon a dead Ruby-crowned Kinglet wedged between two branches. This immediately made me suspect that there must be a owl nearby, and after several minutes of searching, sure enough I found this little guy enjoying the final few rays of sunlight.
