My introduction to the Goldenrod Crab Spider came as I photographed bees working a small patch of boreal flowers, one Honey Bee was motionless at the opening of its flower. Moving closer to get a photo, I saw an unexpected embrace, with a perfectly camouflaged brilliant white Goldenrod Crab Spider lying in ambush in the flower for the unsuspecting Honey Bee.
