While the streets was quieted due to the pandemic lockdown the city came alive with urban wildlife. After being hold up inside my home for just shy of two months I decided to get out for some exercise and went for along walk. On my way home while rounding a pathway I stumbled upon a family of three red fox kits playing. Fortunate for me I had my camera with me. I sprung into action, being careful not to disturb the kits at play and started snapping up as many photos as I could, while keeping an eye out for mama. One of the kits dove into a hole beneath the ground while the two remaining kits took a play break. They were such a delight to observe and brought me so much joy. It was hard to leave the kits but it was made easier when they disappeared into the ground beneath, retiring to their den.
