We like to get out real early in the morning to kayak to look for that ultimate scene of wildlife. Kayaking through an inlet we came upon a loon on its nest. Such a thrill to see. We sat back quite far so we wouldn't spook it or stress the loon out. It was amazing to see the shift change of the parents. The one would come in after fishing and take over so the other could go out.
