Over the summer, I was surveying our garden when I noticed a crane fly caught in a spider's web. He was struggling to free himself but the more he fought the more tangled he became. Soon, I saw the spider approach and I knew the fly's fate was sealed. I was able to get this shot when the fly stopped moving for a moment.
