This year has been an unusual one for me. The past few years I was able to travel across Canada to pursue my wildlife photography goals. This year apart from 3 short trips to Algonquin Park my shooting has been done on my property in Niagara. There are stories to go with most pictures I take but this year the days have blurred into one another. Walking my trails daily I spent much time photographing and observing insects and snails. Some days I was blessed with dew, others the most wonderful light. Each encounter helped me practice my macro skills. One of the most fascinating things to watch was spiders spinning their webs. They weave such intricate patterns.
