This year has been an unusual one for me. The past few years I was able to travel across Canada to pursue my wildlife photography goals. This year apart from 3 short trips to Algonquin Park my shooting has been done on my property in Niagara. There are stories to go with most pictures I take but this year the days have blurred into one another. After having to cancel my trip to Jasper and Banff this year it a great joy to be able to make 2 short Fall trips to Algonquin Park this year as well as one trip in early December. I call Algonquin Park ‘my patch’ since I usually spend more time there shooting than anywhere else. The 5 hour drive is always worthwhile. My trips yielded several otter shots. They are always so fun to watch and this family of 3 , a mom and 2 adult size kits, was no exception. One attempting to catch snowflakes. LOL
