I came upon this young Bald Eagle feasting upon what is likely a deer carcass upon the riverbank of the Puntledge River during one of my lunch hours. It was a dreary day with light rain. I had to sneak up underneath a tree to get some leave from the rain, but crunched a small branch, at which point the Eagle realized it was being watched. It stared at me intently as if to say "back off, find your own meal".
