Mid November brings spawning salmon to the Puntledge river. There is no shortage of action this time of year as it brings many seabirds, raptors as well as seals, all hopeful to take advantage of mother nature's bounty. This seagull was hoping to get a scrap of salmon, but unfortunately found itself in for a surprise as the seal breached right next it and swallowed the entire meal.
