Life can be tough as a seaside mouse, there are plenty of animals, birds especially, always on the lookout for an easy meal. Sometimes you find yourself at odds with your own species, as it appears this mouse may have as evidenced by its ear. Things become even more difficult during winter with a lack of resources to compete for causing mice to venture further. Vegetation becomes scarce, so one must plan their moves carefully. This mouse was lucky enough to find a bramble cage to hunker down in for a moments rest before plotting its next steps on its journey home.
