I went to the Hungry Hollow Wildlife Area in September to see all the newly emerged butterflies and found over 50 of them all drying their wings and eating in the meadow. I set up my camera with my 300mm and got over 100 shots close up and from a distance. It was a beautiful summer day and the site of them was the very heartwarming as I know that they are in distress right now with their North American migration sites under seige.
