While visiting a Hope For Wildlife, and animal rehabilitation centre in Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia, I had the privilege of hanging out with some of their bar owls, many of which were down to one eye, and was able to snap a few shots of these gorgeous creatures. Suprisnginly rehabilitated owls with only one eye can survive in the wild still? And quite efficiently! It’s their hearing that plays a pivotal part in triangulating and capturing prey!
