Dawn Patrol

This close encounter with a coastal grey wolf will be something I'll never forget. This wolf gave us a close pass by on its return to the cover of the forest. While not obvious in this photo, I believe this wolf was as surprised to see us as we were it. Taken in British Columbia, specifics withheld. 400mm and cropped.
