The Night Life

To my surprise I found a family of skunks living in my neighbourhood. Initially< I thought it was just one skunk but that was until then I saw a family of five -- four juveniles and mom. I saw one of the juveniles across the road from my home, grabbed my camera and snapped this shot of this little one digging for grubs, perfectly placed in front of my neighbour's motion sensor lawn light. It was totally focused on digging and didn't pay any mind to me sitting across the road. After a few snaps, I walked away and we both continued on without incident. The neighbourhood is used to our latest residents. Space is respected and neither human nor skunk is startled easily by the other (thankfully).
