Contemplation or Confusion
This bear cub slept in the tree behind our cabin for an hour while their mother was wondering and eating clover and grass nearby. When it was time for the bear to come out of the tree it seemed like he may have been confused on how to get back down. It was wonderful to watch mother nature in action.
Picnic Time
This bear and her cub were hanging out behind our cabin at Great Central lake for at least two hours eating and investigating and eventually hanging out on the picnic table.
Doing what the Raptors do best...hunting
I was driving on Highway 4 from Great Central Lake to Port Alberni when I saw this Eagle in this tree by the river. I quickly pulled over so that I could capture this photo.
