A couple of foxes were frequenting my neighbourhood and it was always a pleasure trying to guess where I would see them every morning. On this particular morning, this fox was sitting perched in her concrete jungle.
I was very fortunate to locate an urban fox family’s den that I visited almost every morning to try and photograph. The one thing I quickly realized was that the dad fox was a relentless hunter. Every morning without fail I would witness him bringing home squirrel after squirrel after squirrel for the kits to feed on.
Every morning for a couple of months, I saw the dad fox bring back a variety of kills back to the den site to feed the kits. On this particular morning, he had two different coloured squirrels for the family meal.
I love wildlife photos that turn out a bit abstract like this Mallard in flight with its wings obstructing its face.
I was out photographing a local urban fox family that I was frequently visiting over the past month. They was the first time they had made their way over the a freshly planted garden and pretty much made it their playground. I was fortunate enough to capture this image of the mom and dad fox play fighting as one of their adorable kits was looking on trying to join in the fun.
