Shake it off!!!
Cow moose shaking its body after eating algae in Maligne Lake, Jasper National Park. Although this event took place at golden hour, the light was pretty tricky in terms of post editing. It looks beautiful in person but it can be a pretty hard to edit since it is high in contrast. It was a beutiful moment to watch, I spent more than hour with her and stayed at a very safe distance. August, 2020.
Swimming lessons
A cow moose and its calf crossed the Maligne Lake, Jasper National Park. Very beautiful scene during golden hour, August 2020. Mom being cautios and looking at another moose who was on the other side of the lake. There were 5 moose in total in that moment! All photos taken from a safe distant with a long telephoto lens.
Blonde Grizzly Sow
A blonde grizzly sow in early June 2020. All photos were taken from the safety of my car using a long telephoto lens. Early June was pretty rainy here in The Rockies Mountains, this mama bear was taking a stroll with its cubs. For less than a second she turned and locked eye contact with me and that is when I took these shots.
