Odd-Looking
This curious looking fellow appeared to be a hybrid between a Canada goose and some domestic goose species. It was seemingly ignored by most passersby as there was another, rarer bird nearby that drew more attention.
Hoo Goes There?
A Barred Owl that I came across in the woods. I like to think that the owl saw me as interesting as I found it to be.
The Young Hunter
This was a young Coastal Wolf that I happened to come across while doing field work. It was such a sudden and short-lasting encounter that I was surprised I even got a usable shot.
The Young Explorer
This young Great Horned owl was exploring the canopy with its siblings as their parents kept a watchful eye nearby.
A Splash of Yellow
This male Bullock's Oriole was a nice surprise find at my local park, chattering away as he and his mate were building a nest nearby.
