Splish Splash
Since I started wildlife I had a list of different images I have always wanted and one of those was a shot that showed motion. Well a few weeks back I hit up a local pond for a few wildlife shots and while there I managed to capture that image that eluded me for so long. If your wondering the name on this species of duck it's an American Wigeon.

This American Wigeon definitely loves being in the spotlight as he poses on a stage full of colours created by a beautiful spring sunrise.
The Wood Duck
In this image I love the pose of the Wood Duck as he had just finished shaking the cold water off his head. If you look closely you can see the drops of water frozen in time...lol...They weren't the only thing frozen on that day as my gloves had gotten wet from from my having them in my pocket. So note to myself! Make sure when you lean over to take a pic while standing more them waist deep in water to have your gloves in a waterproof pocket..lol.
