The somewhat vast field near a local pond provided a lovely sighting of an American Robin and their offspring hanging out upon a tree. One of my favourite springtime memories

Attentive Hawk

Walking along Lake Wilcox on a cloudy and dreary day I wasn't expecting to see many birds. I went with my gut and brought my camera anyways and was pleasantly surprised to see a Red Tailed Hawk perched on a nearby tree. Not wanting to disturb it, I slowly continued along the path until I got a nice angle. I was quite pleased to have finally had a chance to see one up close

Three Crows Down

On a walk near a local pond and noticed a couple of American Crows up high on a branch. As my lens focused on them, a third showed up right in the middle!

Look at that Es-car-go!

At the end of a long walk through the Aurora Arboretum, I was lucky enough to not only see a balding (moulting) male Northern Cardinal, but saw one with a snail for a snack!

Sundown Silhouette

An evening stroll through Humber Trail revealed a beautiful silhouette mirrored in the reflection of the water
