"That Look"
I was out doing some landscape photography a waterfall when I came across this Black Bear in a tree, it must have heard me coming and climbed this tree , I managed to capture several photos and then continued on my way.
"Marshmallow"
This Northern Pygmy-Owl has been on my bucket list for four year and it was this fall I had an encounter with one, on a back road in mid November I was looking for something to photograph. I came upon a small slue with a large cotton in the middle of it, I knew instantly what I was looking at. Made a big circle around it and sat down, it was not long before I found it perched in a Ponderosa Pine right in for of me. It sat there for about twenty minutes and then flew to the next tree , I left with some great photographs and have seen it several times after in the same cottonwood in the middle of the pond.
"Sure Footed"
Lucky enough to live in a place where the Mountain Goat live right behind my house, so I am a frequent visitor to were the goats come down to a natural mineral lick. I have sent many weeks with these goats with some great photographs over the years.
"Follow The Leader"
I was lucky enough to find a Red Fox Den near my home, Spending several weeks with them, I enjoyed the family playing a interacting with each other, I managed to capture some nice photos of them.

Throughout the year I have seen five different Pine Martens but not been able to photograph one until the fifth one hopped across a back road and into this tree. I came out with some great photos , he did not seem to mind me there as he seemed to fall asleep about five minutes into my photo session with him.
