At times the local beaver comes out of the water to nibble on the vegetation. Their incisors are orange because they are coated with an iron rich protective enamel.
The Northern Flicker is well camouflaged amongst the Virginia creeper vines to devour the plentiful fall berries.
A spotted this well camouflaged Killdeer on the driveway.
A beautiful coyote searches the long grass for voles and mice. Coyotes are swift hunters and are opportunists on any small meal in the fields
The Short-eared owl hiding its prey in the frosty long grass.
