I took this photo of a long-eared owl after a fresh snowfall in a Toronto park. This owl was sitting in a pine branch and hard to see through the snow-covered branches. There was a small space through which I could see its face. I snapped some photos and moved along. It clearly was ensuring I didn’t linger too long.
This peregrine falcon was hunting on the water's edge. It landed on the shore near some ducks and they sensed the threat and took off.
This young silver fox was exploring the rocks early one morning when a Canada Geese captured its attention. It stood on the edge watching as if deciding what to do next.
