Common loon in the morning sunlight on half its face giving it Rembrandt light he used for his portraits Taken from bass boat found it worked great for photography because you can lay flat on deck and only be a foot off the water for low angle shots

River otter with a fish he caught came out onto ice while I was photographing a beaver on ice.This image was taken with camera flat on ice I played there for 1 hour watching these guys I could not feel the front of my legs after I got up they where so cold was only wearing jeans and fingers where frozen from working camera but it was all worth it !!!!!!
