A local and abandoned quarry has now become a habitat for many creatures, including Herons, Canada Geese, , Common Mergansers aNd a variety of Waders , including the Yellowlegs!
The beauty of backroads are the treasure you may see! A snowy day and I spotted a Red Tail perched on a line, searching for its next meal! So pretty in the lighting and snow!
It’s always a treat to have the Evening Grosbeaks visit the feeders! This male was really munching away, sending seeds flying !
I always take my camera everywhere but of course the one quick trip to town and back is when I spotted this gorgeous creature and did not have my camera! Luckily I was a minute from home, grabbing my camera and back in time to snap some photos !
Out for an early morning boat ride and this lovely creature surfaced right in front of the boat !
