There's always light within the darkness...
It was in the early morning when I came across this Barred owl sitting on a low branch of a cedar tree. It was just sitting their sleeping and as the sun began to rise it lit up one corner of its face and from the angle i was at it looked like such a calm scene and i just had to take a photo.

It was one sunny afternoon when I was picking raspberry's under my apple tree that I heard a faint buzzing sound from above. I then looked up to see this Annas hummingbird checking out all the flowers above so I quickly rushed inside grabbing my camera before coming back out and looking straight up through the tree taking multiple photos of it and this was the result.
