Opossum in the snow
While out for a hike in December, I came across this opossum as it slowly made its way through the high snow. We stopped and made eye contact before it continued on its way.
Elk Family Outing
This elk herd was seen in a river in Jasper, Alberta. The bull waited and watched carefully while the others safely crossed.

This fireweed plant was spotted growing between the rocks at the base of Mount Edith Cavell in Jasper Alberta.
