Straight Ahead
This shot was taken in Prince Albert National Park/SK. This young deer was staring directly to the lens of my camera, as a kneeled to get lower to the ground. I tried to be as inconspicuous as one can be, but a small branch under my knee decided to crack, alerting the deer of my presence.
Elk duel in Banff National Park
This picture was taken in Banff National Park during the rut season. I first spotted the elk to the left of the picture, but I could see the other elk crossing a creek a little farther. It was putting his head up and tongue out, so I waited since I knew that a duel was going to happen. In a matter of minutes the elk were facing each other and lowering their heads to start the fight.
