Driving through the Nova Scotia countryside and spotted this lone tree in rolling farmer's field.
Came across a Red Fox family.
Red Polls are not very common in our area, but this year there is a flock on the marsh just outside of town. They are such cute little birds.
A coworker told me she had a Cardinal at her feeder. I had never seen one before, as these birds are not that common in our area. The blue jays were not that happy to have the cardinal around, so witnessed this encounter.
My friend and I spent three years driving the Tantramar Marsh looking for an owl. Finally we found this beautiful bird who perched for one minute and thirty seconds before flying off. What an exciting day!
