Not everyone's path is so clear

I went to visit the Kortright Centre for Conservation in Vaughan Ontario one early morning in the winter on a brutally cold day. It was feeling like -20 something outside and I remember wearing a bunch of layers and freezing my fingers off trying to get a few photos at this location. The pine trees in this spot are pretty unique and lined up pretty uniform. I found a spot that I liked and set up my tripod and camera to capture some photos. I attached my lee filters big stopper onto the end of my lens and did a few long exposures to give a few different looks with this scenery. Depending on the time of day you go to this location you can really get different exposures and moods from this spot. I really enjoyed spending some time at this location and plan to visit again sometime in the near future.

River Crossing

Was my last day visiting Canmore on my road trip adventure in 2017. I was out in the early morning trying to catch a sunrise of the three sisters mountain top and I was surprised when I turned a corner and was face to face with an elk. I just stood there for a moment and it continued to walk towards the river to meet up with its family. Throughout my whole trip this was the most wildlife I had seen so far which was surprising for me. I thought we would have come across a lot more wildlife driving across most of the country like moose, bears, birds, and deer but only came across a few goats and hawks really.

Afternoon Delight

This little guy was hungry and was joining us on an afternoon atv adventure where we were brought to the top of a mountain in British Columbia to have our lunch. While we were eating our lunch a few of these marmots ( I believe ) came around scavenging for food and I left a few chunks of our cookie around to snap a quick photo with the beautiful backdrop of the mountain tops.
