It is a privilege to be a resident in Ontario where fall colours can be seen within a few hours’ drive from the cities.
Northern Gannet
This is the second time I went to Cape St. Mary’s Ecological Reserve in Newfoundland. I would never forget my first experience at the Bird Rock where I was surrounded by a large colony of northern gannets. This time, I was prepared with my photography gear and captured one of them in motion.

My wife and I were leaving Eagle Plains and heading back to Dawson City on the Dempster Highway. We spotted a big, furry, grizzly bear ahead of us. The bear was roaming along the highway and we had a brief moment of eye contact before I took this picture.
