Saw this fox cross the snow covered dirt road with a varying hare in its mouth. I walked slowly to where it had gone into the forest to see it come back out a few meters further down the road.

This American Woodcock did not move, relying on its camouflage to remain hidden.
I saw these Blue-winged Teals preening in a small pond on the side of a road. To my surprise, I was able to approach them closely where I was able to photograph and observe them for several minutes, interacting naturally with each other.
This photo was taken at Porcupine Lake, at sunset on calm water which offered a mirror image of the duck in beautiful saturated colors.
