Whenever I'm at Algonquin Park, I cannot help but seek out my favourite bird; the Canada Jay. That particular morning was chilly but watching their interactions always makes me smile.
While at a conservation area on a chilly December morning, found my first Cedar Waxwings!
While at Algonquin Park last winter, I came across my first White-winged Crossbill. What a unique beak they have for crushing pinecones.
I was in my local park when I came across a bale or herd of turtles consisting of three different species on the same log: a Red-eared Slider, a Painted turtle as well as a Northern Map turtle, which is a rare find at this park.
I was walking in a local park when I came across this raccoon. Completely unafraid, it hung around me for some time before it discovered an abandoned hamper and proceeded to nestle itself within it.
