During early Spring, hundreds of Red-Winged Blackbird will gather in the local marsh. For most passerby, these are just a common bird. But the beauty of photography to me, is to be able to enhance the beauty of any subject. I enjoy taking picture of these birds every Spring as they make up their territory.
Blue Jays are loved my many including me. As some people still think they are just "glorified crow" because of they pretty plumage. I won't care as I like both and their intelligence can make up for interesting encounters.
I know... any bird might be considered a noise maker at some point. But when it come to the Bobolink, I literally mean NOISE. If you ever heard this bird, you know what I mean. His attire doesn't deserve either, it really gives into the oddity of his singing.
A wonderful time I had with this Female Kingfisher when she choose my branch over and over again. To a point I could predict where she would perch. I installed my camera in advance and tried remote shooting. This uncropped capture might be the best close-up I will ever get in my lifetime.
