Frosty Stares
A Barred Owl gives a frosty stare from its frosty perch on a frosty day. Manitoba was treated to some amazing hoar frost / rime ice which lasted well through the day. This hunting Barred Owl was spotted in the mid afternoon and took a break to survey its surroundings.
Duck(lings) in a row
A number of wood ducklings decided to take a dip and many of them made their way towards me from across the pond. I was able to capture this trio of wood ducklings focused it safely to their destination.
