Get Lost!
While traversing the channel between Longbow Lake and Lake of the Woods, we spotted a very busy beaver dam. This guy made a point of telling us that we weren't welcome in his channel! Immediately following this shot was an epic tail slap.
The Lone Ranger
The hiking path was well traversed, but this lonely Fly Agaric mushroom was determined to grow tall and strong in the middle of the trail.
Looking for Lunch
This Golden Eagle spent quite a bit of time hunting and resting around where we were fishing. Shortly after this shot, he spread his amazing wings and took off.
Harvesting
This bumblebee spent a lot of time with these flowers, along the coastline while we fished nearby.
Coasting
This was one of 30 or so pelicans visiting the area. While we were out fishing, this one decided to put on a show and was circling around over head.
