Hunting Heron
Blue Herons stand tall with there heads tilted to sight fish under the oceans surface. This shot was taken one second before the big bird dove its beak into the water and snatched supper with two big gulps.
Great Horned Protector
Each evening at sunset, I would bike into the woods to photograph this young family of Great Horned Owls. I would respectfully keep my distance and admire them while I photographed them in there habitat. On this particular day, the mother owl felt protective. She flew over to her baby and stood on guard, giving me a clear message to keep my distance.

Lurking Lizard
I stopped at a river one hot day mountain biking. I kneeled down to gather water in my hands when I noticed this lizard between the rocks watching me. We both stayed patient and I was fortunate enough to capture the moment.
