Autumn in Winter
Was photographing birds and ducks this January when I saw this vegetation being lit up by the setting sun. Had to stop and take some pictures of the beautiful back lighting and bokeh.
Steely Blue stare down
Caught this Black-throated Blue Warbler up close during the spring migration. These warblers have such dark eyes.

Caught this female Cardinal taking flight on a frigid February with crystal blue skies.
Heavy Metal Heron
I caught this Great Blue Heron perched on some old dock posts one early morning while hiking around False Creek, with two friends while visiting Vancouver. I liked how this Heron was at ease while living on the waterfront of a big city.
The Poser
This little Yellow Warbler stopped right in front of me and posed for a few seconds before it flew off. I was on the wrong side of the light, but like it for both the pose, background and the springtime environment.
