Success

I watched this Coyote many mornings hunting a small meadow between two woodlots. Many times successful and just as many times not. This morning she used the tall grass to hide herself from some squirrels who were foraging, oblivious to her presence. It was over before it began as one squirrel wandered a bit too lose to where she was waiting. She pranced around with her prize, wagging her tail with pride, before she took her breakfast back into the tall grass.

Flying Squirrel

Eastern Coyote playing with a recently caught Red Squirrel. She tossed it around for about 10 minutes before she disappeared with it into the tall grass

Lady and the Tramp

This beautiful female Coyote has caught the eye of a handsome, albeit scruffy male

Hello Gorgeous

This beautiful little Silver Fox Kit greeted me one morning on the rocks, where I had been taking pictures of the sunrise

Watcher

I had been wandering around the forest looking for a Coyote I had seen go into the woodlot earlier. I had no luck finding it so I was turning around to head out. This Coyote was standing between the trees watching me. Just goes to show, you never know who is watching you in the woods
