Merlin on a Rural Telephone Box
I was driving in rural Ottawa, and saw this Merlin falcon on a small Bell Canada Telephone box along the side of the road. I expected it to fly away as my car got closer but it did not. Luckily I had my camera on my front seat, opened my car window and took some photographs before it ultimately flying away.
Snowy Owl in the Capital City
On early Saturday morning, at first light I was driving in Ottawa and saw this Snowy Owl on a power line pole. It is beautifully light by the early morning winter sun.
