Nice view, right?

As we were standing at the summit of Banff Sulphur Mountain, I noticed this little guy, a golden-mantled ground squirrel. It seemed to be enjoying the view as the visitor in whose boot it was standing on .

I had the pleasure to take a shot at this magnificent creature during a visit to Omega Parc in Quebec. I find its eyes in this close up portrait particularly interesting, these animal always seem to be on the look out.
