A Good Spot for a Nest

A few years ago, a robin made a nest on top of our eavestrough. While the location seemed like a precarious dwelling, it provided shelter from the wind and rain, and proved to be quite suitable. Three years later, it has seen many families of robins, including the one pictured here.
