"Classy Times Two" by Debbie Oppermann. These two beautiful, striking, azure Blue Jays, Cyanocitta cristata, were finally quietly perched in a Spruce tree in our yard in Guelph Ontario Canada. This urban dweller is unmistakable both for its vivid blue color and its very loud cries which it uses as a warning. The Blue Jay is a large attractive songbird that loves peanuts and will be quite aggressive when another gets too close to its food source.
