I traveled two hours north of where I live in hopes of finding woodland caribou. They come into a certain area in the winter months in that area. Being more solitaire and tending to stay in more densely treed areas, I was fortunate to come across a group of five woodland caribou in a clearing. These two were grazing beside one another and as they each moved closer to one another they for a short period tested each other and then went back to grazing.
