A family moment

As I was driving down a backcountry road I saw this skunk coming straight down the middle. I pulled to the side and got out of my vehicle. To my surprise the skunk kept coming straight at me at a very hurried pace, making it difficult to focus on her. As she got closer I realized she was carrying a very young baby. She come close swerved around me and then carried on down the road for another 100 meters or so when she went into the forest. Moments later she was back out with no baby, came past me again went about 500 meters down the road. Stopped went into the grass in the ditch and a few moments later appeared with another baby. I watched her move three babies that evening to their new den.
